End of year celebratory picnic! Sunday 5 December 2010

So, it's International Volunteers Day - what better occasion to get together on a grassy patch for some afternoon sunshine, to celebrate a successful year and say thank you to our members and friends for your support?

We're teaming up with our friends at Architects Without Frontiers, co-design, Emergency Architects Australia and Urban Village Melbourne to make it a communal event. If you're in town, we hope you can join us!

When: Sunday 5 December, 2.00pm onwards

Where: Fitzroy Gardens, East Melbourne

(Enter from cnr Lansdowne St and Treasury Pl, Melway Ref 2G B3) - see map of the gardens here. Head for the big triangle on the left side of the map, between the conservatory and the dolphin fountain!

Getting there: It's a short walk from Parliament Station or Wellington Pde (Trams 48 and 75)

Flyer below, all welcome - BYO picnic rug and something to share!

RSVP/further info: eleanor@architectsforpeace.org, 0431 254 644
