Closing party - Friday 29 November 2013

Architects for Peace and the Centre for Cultural Partnerships, co-hosts of the 'words' talk series in 2013, invite you to a closing celebration. And no, we can't believe it's already that time of year either! But before end of year madness really kicks in, we hope you'll join us to reflect on 2013 and welcome the coming year.

When: Friday 29 November 2013, 6pm onwards
Where: Testing Grounds, 1 - 23 City Road, Southbank, Melbourne, Australia

We've scored a rather special venue, a stone's throw from the location of our talks this year. Testing Grounds, a formerly vacant site behind the Arts Centre, was launched just a few weeks ago - and temporary occupants The Projects are making it a place for experimentation, public gatherings and the voicing and testing of ideas. Brazilian documentary High Rise (Um Lugar Ao Sol), directed by Gabriel Mascaro, will be screening (via projector bike) from 8pm-ish.
