Creative Time Summit satellite event in Melbourne - Friday 25 October 2013

Our friends at the Centre for Cultural Partnerships at the VCA have partnered with New York-based public art commissioning agency Creative Time to host a live-stream of the Creative Time Summit 2013: Art, Place, and Dislocation in the 21st-Century City at Federation Square. You're invited to take part in a Welcome to Country celebration, art interventions and a panel discussion, on the subject of 'art. place. dislocation.' A live stream of the summit will commence on the big screens at 1am.

Time: Friday 25 October, overnight from 6.30pm to 6am.
Place: the Atrium at Federation Square, Melbourne

The CCP, kind hosts of our monthly talk series 'words' this year, have invited us to be involved. If you would like to join us, simply come down to the Atrium any time from 7pm (look our for the A4P banner!), settle in and make yourself comfy. We have a few informal activities planned...in order to participate to the fullest, we ask that you bring along something to contribute to the space. Here are a few suggestions:

- Dinner
- FM radio and headphones
- Picnic rug
- Milk crate
- Deck chair
- Inflatable couch
- Guitar
- Pot plant
- Sleeping bag
- Piano accordion
